LD Kite teaches kitesurfing to beginners and experienced riders alike at various spots between the Quiberon peninsula, Plouharnel and Erdeven, carefully chosen according to the current weather conditions.
Whatever the wind direction, there's always an option for you in this part of the Morbihan. A variety of spots with excellent wind make this an ideal site for kitesurfing, 15 minutes from Auray, 30 minutes from Lorient and Vannes, 1 1/2 hours from Nantes and Rennes and just 3 hours from Paris.
The spots on the ocean side - Kerhillio beach, Sainte-Barbe beach, Mentor beach, Mané Guen beach and Penthièvre - offer a superb, safe learning ground with steady winds and plenty of room to progress.
On the Quiberon Bay side, there's a huge area of perfectly flat water, with a host of ideal spots for learning to kitesurf, from Penthièvre to Locmariquer, via Carnac.
